This unit provides a stylish combination of media unit with integral glass fronted storage shelf and separate drawer plus a tall glazed cabinet for displaying your treasured items. There is a motion activated control below the media unit that lights up the cabinet and the area below the media unit. The alder wood comes from sustainably managed forests in Hungary and Poland and is characterised by a warm, red and golden colour that darkens slightly in sunlight. Alder is a fast-growing medium-hard species of wood that is finely grained. TEAM 7 is a high end Austrian furniture manufacturer that uses only pure solid hardwood from sustainable forestry, assembled without formaldehyde, finished with natural oil. We purchased this unit in 2013 when we were modernising our living room. We are once again reviewing the layout of our home as the family dynamic develops and find that we sadly no longer have the space for this stylish item. As a beautifully crafted item this remains in excellent condition and would serve another family well.
